How do I use the "Find Matches" tool?
The "Find Matches" tool was created as a powerful utility that aids you in finding people to trade with. Put simply, when you use this tool, CardDrifter will automatically crawl through its database and find people that you might want to trade with. In order for a match to come up, two things must happen.
1. You have an item that a particular user has on their wishlist.
2. You want an item that the same user has in their binder.
Once both of these conditions are checked and verified, you will be given a link to the user and the items that are suggested for the trade.
Requirements:
In order to use this tool, you must have at least five cards in your wishlist and 25 cards in your binder.
If the "Find Matches" tool does not turn up any results, you might find more success by adding items to your binder and wishlist.
Gem mint means perfect. This item is brand new or in the condition of something that is brand new.
Mint
Mint means that the item is as close to being perfect without being perfect. The line between Mint and Gem Mint is thin.
Great
An item in "Great" condition is practically unused, but is none-the-less used. It is not in and sort of mint condition, but the condition is indeed excellent and practically new.
Good
A good item may have small blemishes that are relatively unnoticable.
Fair
Fair items have been are the block a little bit. They may be items that have been frequently used in the past and show signs of wearing. They are not destroyed or really hurt in any way, however.
Poor
Poor means that the item has some problems. This is where the item rating system takes a curve in the negative direction.
Bad
A bad item is practically destroyed. It is in very poor shape and most people would probably not want something that is in "Bad" condition unless they specifically need it for a special reason.
Terrible
Destroyed. Completely.
Deleted Items
If an item becomes deleted at any point, there are several issues that could arrise. Since viewing of that item information is required
when a trade is completed, we cache all items for a period of about 10 days before it is perminantly deleted. If you, for specific purposes
need an item removed immediatly, please contect us at support@carddrifter.com.
If an item you have offered for is deleted, the transaction cannot be completed and you will be notified on the "View Offer" page.
After you have completed a trade, the details will be listed on your user homepage under the label 'Most Recently Completed Trades.' To view the full details of the trade and obtain
the information (mailing address, email address) of the user you traded with, simply click the 'complete' link under 'Status.' You can then leave feedback for this user (one for each trade) by clicking the
feedback link on the page where all the mailing address information is listed. It is recommended that you only leave feedback once you have recieved tbe product from the trade. Not before!
If you wish to review an older trade that no longer appears under the "Most Recently Completed Trades" label, you must email us at support@carddrifter.com.
How do I report or rate another user?
We wish to provide the safest possible trading environment for all of our users. If you notice that another user is using this site in a potential harmful way, where they are involved in a scam or improper behavior, there are two possible solutions.
1. If you have just completed a trade with another user, and they do not fulfill their duty as a trader, you can leave negative feedback to warn other users. Our feedback system is unique in that it adds restrictions and warning labels to all traders with a certain level of bad feedback.
